Hoola hoola. Was invited to a gathering by Kai Sheng. I was the second to reach there. Along came Kai Sheng, den the 3 of us went to do shoppin for Cheryl's birthday present. We first came to gift shop to select a birthday card. Next, passed by Princess Jewellery, greeted by the "old biang" designs as well as the "old biang" shop attendants. They recommended us to get the Mickey Mouse collection, but we said we'll walk n take a look around other shops first. Fate brought us to walk into Citigems for a look, and boy did we found what we were looking for. Ahaha, n' dere the present was settled. Must say that I was really very tempted to buy something for "her" too. But, thinking that her birthday was afew months away, decided to hold myself back from any impulse spending. Ben arrived when we were at Citigems. Took escalator to level 6 to grab a bite. 4 of us were there, someone was still on her way. We finished our lunch, she's still not there yet. We promised to meet at 12 noon, but someone came at 2pm. Thus, we decided to play a prank on her by tellin her that we had not eaten, and made our way to the board game cafe.
The place was known as Mind Cafe. The cafe was empty when we stepped in, no other customers. To my surprise, I recognised someone from my sec sch to be workin there. I found out from him that he had ORD, and while waiting for Uni, kills time by working part-time, as well as attneding various stock-broker seminars. I couldn't believe it when I heard from him that he aspired to be a stock-broker of sought after he finished his double-degree.
With the free flow of soft drinks with a variety to choose from, and various games such as Guillotine, Risk, and Dividends, time flew by, and soon I found myself running my pants off to catch the free premiere of V for Vendetta, as I was terribly late by 15-20 minutes. Lucky for me and my friend who gave me the free tickets, we only missed the trailers and advertisements. We even managed to catch the trailer for Superman Returns. Speaking about "V", the movie is set in future Britain, where a chancellor has rose to power and has used ways and means to get to where he is today. November 5th is a day that has been forgotten by people. The plot thickens when a building was bombed by a masked men known as "V", who happens to be...... Cannot tell u all too much, or the show not worth watchin liao.
Went back to the cafe to meet up with the 4 of them again. The cafe was packed with people this time round. Tuesday happened to be ladies night, so majority of the customers were of the fairer sex. We packed our stuff, and headed opposite at paradiz centre to draw money.
Prata at Bencoolen Street. We chatted and chatted and chatted until around 12 midnight. We intended to walk to Bugis and part ways then, but we changed our mind and decided to walk to Kallang instead. Creepy creeeepy~ Must say that the stretch down my pri sch and kelantan road was eerie and made us feel uneasy. Furthermore, the psychology set in when we were a group of odd number, 5. The brisk walk down the stretch, instructed by one of us did us good, cos' the place really made you imagine things. I oso learnt something from Kai Sheng thru' this few minutes.
Halfway thru' the journey to Kallang, someone suggested going to Geylang for "tau huei". An interesting note during the long walk was, we were practically crossing the road while the red man was on, or the green man was blinking. We hardly had a chance to stroll across the road as we were always about to be caught up with traffic. The gathering finally ended ard 3am when we finished our soyabean drink, toasted pastry, you tiao, taiwan noodles and tea-boiled egg.
Lastly, the identity of the 4: Kai Sheng who used alot alot alot and I mean ALOT of tissue paper that day; Yin San the sheep; Lingling the ah lian; & Benedict who didn't seem to fit intot he topic when we were talking about certain SU stuff.
*Mind Cafe is situated directly opposite Paradiz Centre.

Holidays have been nothing but slackin at home n enjoying playing my PS2. When I got tired to KOF Neowave, I was hooked onto the game of Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. Videogaming has nva been so fun like it is to me now.
Met my 2 male classmates for farewell dinner yesterday @ Cafe Cartel Cineleisure Orchard. My oh my, it was my first time eating at Cartel. Never had I found plain bread to be so warm, crispy n tasty. My advice is, dun take too much of the delicious tasting loaf, or you'll soon find yourself struggling with the main course itself. Ordered a meat lover, which included chicken, ribs n' sausage. We had a hearty meal. Thank goodness I was able to stike up some minor conversations during the meal, or else it would've been rather dull n boring. Guess what, we spent almost 2 hours at the restaurant! Thus, it was an "enlightenin" n' satisfyin dinner after all..
Got down to PS to support Royston Aw aka kaiming in the Teens Model Search Finals today. The contestants performance were too few n too short. A pity for Royston, cos' the winner turned out to be someone else, n' a controversial one at the same time. Well, at least most of the peeps dere didn't thought of the winner to be of champion material, but guess we dropped our jaws when the results were announced. Lols!~
