Freedom, here I come. At last, I'm free. Free from my assignments, at least for the time being. Been focusing on my HR project, even more on CEM, so much so that I have neglected my other subjects. Gosh!~ Mid-Sem next week, now still havn't buy my MA textbook. Die liao~Die liao~ Fret not, I shall goto TP bookshop n' purchase the book tomorrow, provided I dun forget about it.
Sahf is enthu, he really is. He might be the next wave of revolution to the union. He has magnificent ideas. He comes up with GREAT plans for the union. He is someone whom I admire as he LEADS BY EXAMPLE n' SERVES WITH PASSION. He is clearly aware that RESPECT IS NOT DESIRED BUT EARNED FROM OTHERS. He just happens to shine that much much more compared to others.
Victor is corny, he really is. He could come up with a lame reason as to why guys have bald spots at the top of their heads (answer: revenehw yeht evah live sthguoht, eht legna lliw kconk meht no rieht sdaeh). His quote of the day "No Target. No Motivation."
Alvin Neo is cranky, he really is. During our meeting yesterday, he never failed to slot the "Do you think I look like Alvin?" thingie into the discussion.
Conclusion: TPSU is truly, deeply, madly a BIG FAMILY. hMmMmm...perhaps I should start finding my papas & mamas in the committee, or my korkors & zehzehs in the committee.

Come 1st August 2005, I will be appointed as the Assistant Honourary General Secretary for the TPSU Executive Committee of AY2005/2006. This post didn't come easy. This was a result of my relentless efforts in campaigning, going all out on my A3 n' A0 size posters. This was a result of the hardwork that I put in to show my determination to get into the committee. The past failure proved to have no detrimental effects in my future pursues. As someone once said "Failure is not about falling down. Staying down makes you a failure." Evidently, it's not about falling down, but it's about how you managed to get up after the fall that matters. The previous defeat only made me stronger and tougher, not weaker. However, this growth and maturity does not apply somewhere...
There can never be any gains, if there are no losses. You win some, you lose some. No pain, No gain. Karma. Retribution. A cycle. You can never have the best of both worlds. You cannot have the icing on the cake and eat it. There is no such thing as "kill 2 birds, n' yet get to keep the stone". There are signs that I exchanged this TPSU Exco13th member position with many things I treasure, obviously not of a materialistic nature. I have had to go through the pain of losing something, something so dear, so treasured, so precious, so important, so significant. In order to achieve what I have now, I had to set my priorities. However, when my priorities were set, looking back, what's gone is history, what's happened cannot be undone. There is no turning back. It's just plain hard to describe in words, the feeling of getting ready the money to buy a car, only to find out that the car is already under someone else's possession. So near...yet so far...
