I presume this post will be even longer than that of yesterday.
Just spent an hour watching National Geographic. There was this ShowReal Asia, and the country featured was Japan. To my surprise, the show was about the Kumo Gasen in Kajiki, a small agricultural area countryside near the Kyushu regions of the land of the rising sun. As a arachnophobiac, every scene and sequence sent chills down my spine, as for your information, the whole show was about spiders. Kumo Gasen literally means Battle of the Spiders. Well, not any spiders, but the giant golden-orb spiders in Kajiki. As kids, our parents might have indulged in spider wrestling during their childhood years, but as Singapore became more urbanized, the hobby came to a halt, as kids nowadays show more fascination with technology and gadgets such as mobile phones and mp3 players. These spiders actually have another alias known as the samurai spiders, for it was believed that this sport was passed down by the ancient samurais, which was a practice to raise the morals and spirits of the warriors on the night prior to the battle. An interesting fact, the golden-orb weaver lays a astounding amount of 14,000 eggs, all of which will hatch into tiny golden-orb weavers, who will then colonalize throughout the small countryside of Kajiki, or even as far away as Tokyo.
Compared to yesterday, today was even SHITTIER (is dere such a word?) during school hours. Went to prepare for POE presentation @ the library. Waiting time for the lifts was greatly increased due to the blood donation that's going on on Level 9 of the library. Started coughing badly all of a sudden in the library, bad omen. After printing out the transparencies, there was only ample time left to prepare my note cards. The POE presentation was a fluke! We overshot the clock by 5 minutes. The lecturer was questionable and doubtful about our working capital and return on equity. The good news was we would be able to rectify such errors when we submit our type-written project report.
Felt really hungry after the presentation, so went to unload stuff at lounge and headed straight to Mensa2. Wasn't feeling well already, so decided to have egg salad instead of the usual fried western food. Hunger pangs were neutralized, but my condition remained bad the same. Got back to the exco office and took a short nap there. That was when Alvin Ting, Ah Tan, Ah Guang and Denise went into the room to chill. I also got up as my set alarm sounded. It was time for me to revise for the IB test paper. Head wasn't thinking well, and brain cells were malfunctioning (guess must be the f*ckin p*nis brain that I hav). Couldn't absorb what I was reading at all.
Was feeling damn hungry before the paper, so went to Bizpark and grabbed a sandwich. Saw Wesley at the bizpark, only to find out later that jy was there too. Think my eyes were playing tricks on me bah (huh, f*ckin a**hole eyes?!) Saw Ah Guang, Andrew and Yee Ping, found out that they were heading for town. I asked if I could join them after the paper and they were ok with it.
Interesting bits about the test: 10 minutes reading time, so cannot start writing before 10 minutes is up. When the clock struck the end of the 10th minute, people started writing, the invigilator asked "why are you writing?" ROFLMAO !!!~
Joined Ah Guang and company @ Shawhouse after my paper. The group of us included guang, drew, yp, ryan and denise. Spent too much time eating and chit-chatting, so in the end many of the shops were closed. Our final stop was Topman at Wisma, when the girls bought some tops and skirts. We took NEL home together, but I was the first to alight at my stop.
Thanks for the great company guys! Ah Guang, please please please create a blogskin for me okiezz??
Perhaps I mistook someone else for u @ the library while waiting for the lift. Not sure if it was u, so didn't say hi. Wished I wasn't rushing for time, so that I could hav spend that few more seconds with u.

Wadzzup!
Wasted time preparing for a test which I didn't managed to finish the POE paper on time. What could be worse? Luckily, I joined Victor for dinner after my paper in the evening. That's when I met his NS friend, who happens to be teaching unarmed combat in the military. That's like "WOW! That's so cOOl Man!"
Victor "koped" some fries while we dere chillin at Macdies. He tried to bullshit (as usual) by saying how he tried to challenge the Akido Master during Open House and stuff lidat. The exaggerations and funniness could only be felt there. I mean, come one, you've got to be there to know what it feels like to hear Victor telling such cock-and-bull stories. Only he is capable of bringing such crankiness and gaganess to everybody. Lols!~ He continued blowing his horn when suddenly, he received a call from a stranger. His friends immediately told him to hang up when he heard the word PRUDENTIAL, cos' it was an insurance sales call. But Victor being the usual crapper he is, went on and on and talked to the man on the other line. Could you believe it? He even mentioned he was a business student, and is taking finance. The most contradicting part was when he said that he is financially independent and his financial matters have all been taken care of, by his mother. WTH!?
We went to shop for xin nian yi (coughVICTORcough) at TM. He got himself a dry fit tee. I wanted to get a belt. We later realised that there would be additional discount if there were purchases of 2 or more regular items. In the end, I didn't get the belt.
Next, we went to Timberland. Gosh, the shoes are nice man! Btw, have you ever wondered why the shirts there are all so big-sized? Royal Sporting house was the stop later, where again Vict and his pal were looking for dry fit tees. The final destination was the All Day IDream About Sex Shop, where Vict got him self yet another piece of xin nian yi, to prepare for bai nian. But according to him, he intends to bi nian this year, WTF!?
You made my day, Victor pal, thanks alot bro!
Your welfare is my concern. Good luck to your projects and presentations. :)

I am hungry, very hungry. I have not eaten my lunch and dinner today. I am thirsty, very thirsty. There doesn't seem to be a lot of boiled water around in my house. I am angry, very angry. The many things I could have done today, but did not. I am fuming. I am happy, very happy. I was lucky to have met a new acquaintance on my bus ride home. I am lonely, very lonely. Anyway, why bother? Noone seems to give a shit about me.

A U-turn. You're still the only one I want.

Couldn't have been a better way to end this week off. Went with family for free lunch at a restaurant. Then went to orchard for some "unanticipated" cny-shopping. Stopped by for a short while at Plaza Singapura after that to do window-shopping, only to jump through the window n empty out my pockets of dough.
Met Terence bro at bras popular later for a pre-agreed office-shopping meet-up. Browsed thru' Art Friend first, followed by Popular@Central. It was a crazeee office items bonanza as we practically scapped through the whole of the store. Terence was so 'High" that he was almost tempted to buy everything in his sight!
By hook or by crook, Operation "DN" begins today, 23 January 2006, so does Operation "BB". What it means? Go figure!

The coffeeshop, a wonderful place to hangout. A place to have nice pork & century egg porridge. A place to chit-chat. A place to hear gossips. An amazing place overall. Unfortunately, I had to hear about unpleasant stuff at such a beautiful location. Controversy or irony, the answer only I will know. In english, it says do not rub salt on the wounds; In chinese, it writes do not dig others' scarsof the past . Either way, it means do not mention about the unhappy past. Dampen spirits, irreplaceable loneliness, discouraging words of dignity-genociding resemblance, in anguish and in disappointment. The one thing that I did not expect for today was the one last thing that happened before I reached my house. The cabby-ride proved to be a memorable and enjoyable time , in absolute contrast to today's turn of events of snowballing depression and unfathomable demoralization. Expect the unexpected. Hoping for more better things to come.
The small picture was worrying if you were thirsty while doing duty. The big picture was worrying about whether the officials were thirsty. If only you knew...

It's such a nice and wonderful feeling to meet new people everyday! Today I got commended by my group leader twice, through sms n msn, for contributing my views and thoughts to the project. I'm so happy. Finally my existence is recognized in the group, and not just a figure there. Yippee!! :) Just hope that it would be better tomorrow. I ate a fortune cookie today. The message made me delirious with joy. But after today, I think either the cookies or the fortune was expired.
Fortune cookie says: Your relationship begins to blossom.

Something I've learned today: "A man has got to depend on himself when it comes to chasing a girl." Strangely, seems like a handful of related people stay in the area of Yishun. I feel so happy to hangout with this group of people whom I call "the dinner/supper gang".

Damn shagged. Woke up at 6am today. Got MA2 mid-sem test today, damn stressed. Went for International Business revision lecture, damn boring. Studied for MA2, damn focused and concentrated. Finished MA2 paper, damn relieved. Damn grateful to Bea***** for lending me her calculator, thanks alot! Did project in the library, damn exhausting. Went to slack in lounge, damn hungry. Dinner at Technos again, had Nasi Istimewak, damn delicious. Chilled with Guang n peeps, damn fun. Back at home, out from shower, 2am now, still damn energetic. Damn it!~
I regret not coming over and talk to you earlier on. I was busy mugging for the paper, and then I was late for the test. Really really really regret my decision.

All in a day's work. Morning was entrepreneurship forum, followed by packing day in the afternoon, n finally the wedding in the evening. A long n tiring day, but it was worth it every single second.
The entrepreneurship talks were kinda inspiring and motivating, but judging by the number of students who showed disrespect at the guest speakers by playing with their mobile phones while the the speakers were on the stage, I guess not all benefited from their presence. Worse still, there were also people who surfed the net with their laptops in the auditiorium while the speakers were giving their presentations. What has TP biz students become? Sighzz...
Then, I reached the packing day venue having no clue as to what I was supposed to do. Waited at TCC for Victor n' company to return from their lunch. 2 hours of fun, games, chicky dance, mass dance n' club dancing before we were moved to the staff apartment to do the systematic packing of the goodie bags. My job was the conveyor belt, while the production line passed the stuff to me n I would pass it to the next person. The shift ended at 5.30pm, and I dashed home straight to prepare for the evening.
I was so tired on the cab home that I dozed off. Luckily I was not very far away from my house when the taxi driver managed to wake me up. Took a refreshing shower. Was very annoyed when my bro called me up to ask me to bring this bring that, cos' my family had forgotten to bring these important stuff along when they left the house before me. Was cursing and swearing while I went around to search for these "junks".
Alas, I finally reached the small restaurant where the banquet was held at around 7.30pm. Helped to usher the guests to their tables while my mum brought me around to greet relatives whom I have never met before. The best part of the whole event was when we went around to "Yam Seng" with the tables. Not boasting, but I was confident of shouting a longer "Yam Seng" than any tables with single breath. No sweat man. Chicken feet, haha!!
And there you have it, 14th January 2006. Signin' off......
"Hi!" "You had a test just now?" Juz 2 sentences...not enough...gotta work on it more...

Nothing much to say... except that I have learnt alot after Wednesday 11th January 2006. Tomorrow will be a super long day, with entrepreneurship forum in the morning, packing day after that, followed by uncle's wedding dinner. Keeping my fingers crossed for anything that shall happen, can happen and will happen. I have been exercising for the past 2 weeks, just so I can look good on this day, but seems results are not showing themselves yet. But anyway, the date is near, and I have tried my best. Hope everything will be fine tomorrow, with surprises to come.
You were sick. I showered you with concern. The weather was cold. I comforted you with warmth. I was lonely, but who was there? All my actions, you don't seem to care...

It's been hell of a week for me. Tuesday and wednesday was treadmilling time. Thursday and Friday was Will @ TP Event.
Dr. Tan. You were impressive. I really admire you. You have earned my respect, now and forever. 24 hours of hand-pedalling. Sheer will & determination. Congrats on your new Guinness World Record.
Thank you to all the sub-comms and GLs who went to help out in the in-processing, out-processing, crowd control and runners. Remember, unleash your willpower, and nothing is impossible.
8 hours, or was it 12 hours? Saw you in action. Did not talk to you. Blam! 12 hours of opportunities wasted just like that. Though that I have gotten over you... But I was wrong... I still felt like how I was back then, back to last year. Can only blame myself for being such a coward. "Stay out... if u weren't meant to be", was this a hint which I refused to acknowledge? Guess only you know the answer yourself... Telling myself to be contented...tellin myself to move on... But you're still close to my heart... Perhaps avoidance will do both of us good? Or perhaps not.
