Why is the service at Post Office always so bad? Twice I've been to that awful place, twice it had to make my day a bad one. The queue is so bloody damn long, but the counters are so pathetically few. What's this man? WTF??
Last saturday, I went to Cha Can Teng @ Takashimaya. Oh yeah, the service there sucks too! Do they even have product knowledge? They do not even know what they are selling! They come and tell you that item is sold out after you made the order, sit there and wait. And then, after you acknowledged that item is sold out, and proceed to getting the other stuff, they conveniently forgot what you have ordered. This was what happened to me and my friend. He ordered a corn beef toast, and when told it was already sold out, he ordered a steamed custard same as me. However, only one bowl was served. We practically had to ask the waitress to remind her that we ordered 2 steam custard, and not just 1.
While these are black sheeps of the service industry, there exists (thankfully) halo stores/shops that offer good customer service along with expectation-exceeding product knowledge. Therein we may see the bright future of the Service industry of my nation.
