TODAY is sPorTs dAy. met jessica, yinsan, kai sheng, n' cannonz for badminton. booked da sch badminton courts for 2 hours from 4-6pm. borrowed da racket from moi younger bro. first time holding a personal racket n' havin' a game since I left VS. back in VS, da AOP peeps used to play badminton in da sch hall whenever it rains, n' we can't hav any outdoor activities. played doubles with I n' cannonz against kai sheng n' cheryl. gd bro hanwooOOooOOiii was playin' point game with his army pal james, whom he called you ya yu (westside story). wasn't really good in badminton, bUt cannonz was kind n' helpul enuff to teach me da proper way of gripping da handle of da racket, as well as how to serve da ball. as the game progressed, so did my amateur skills......compared to sec sch, da racket was more able to hit da shuttlecocks than hit da air.
A pity cheryl had to leave at ard 5 or so, to visit her grandma she said. after she left, dere were only 3 of us in da court, so cannonz suggest kai sheng n' I team up against him 2-on-1 handicap. it was obvious that cannonz was a better badminton player than kai sheng n' me. once again, I practised my serving skills n' it did improved. da shuttlecock went back n' forth da net for abt 100 times b4 we called it quit.
WHILE we were resting, saw guang outside da hall, den hw asked guang if he wanted to play for a while. so, I lent guang my racket. at first, guang kept missing da ball, den he gave "warm up la" as an excuse for his blunders. bUt after a few shots, I could see that he's even a better player than cannonz, might surpass james too. guang was a left hander, n' he returned every ball with speed n' accuracy. too bad he had to leave with sue after that few amazing shots, if not he could hav had a showdown with hw to see if hu da better man is.
NEXT, went to play doubles, with jessica n' me vs. kai sheng n' yinsan. dunnoe y, but whenever it was my turn to serve, da ball would end up hitting da upper level. as a result, a couple of shuttlecocks ended up at da second floor of da sports hall for no reason!~ iZit a curse?~ a cUrse of da bLack peArl?~
ENDED da whole badminton thingy at ard 7pm or so, den cannonz suggested da gang going to Kids Central, OOPs!~ Tampines Central..(: so, kais heng, cannonz, yinsan n' me took bus 69 from sch to goto TC. on da bus, kai seng tokked so loudly that he almost became da centre of attraction of da bus, all eyes were on our grp...felt so maLU sia!~
WENT to sTarBucks to look for tat ming, den went to biLLy boMbers to look for alan, saw ah tan at da ceNtury sQuare entrance n' chatted for awhile. after which, we accompanied kai sheng to ntUc to buy his gu ni (milk)..he was so fussy n' picky that he only wanted da Magnolia Chocolate Milk, other he didn't want. met up with benedict after payin for da milk, which then we went to da food court at CS basement to makan...... sharks!~ da place was full of china man n' china women. I wonder if they can speak english~...
MAKAN finish liao, de 5 of us went to de arcade on de 5th floor for some entertainment... I killed time by watching da pros challengin each other at KOF, while kai sheng n' cannonz were happily playing percussion master. got bored after repeatedly watching the pros play KOF, so went back to join peeps...sat down on the Daytona 2 machine with benedict, when we had a heart-2-heart chat...bGr n' stuff...
AS I was waiting for moi bus to take me home, saw my ex-classmate from VS--- Chris Wong. we took da same bus, n' tokked along da way, tokked abt stuff like which movies r niCe, n' the few VS peeps hu I still keep in contact with. poor chris, had a few drinks b4 I saw him n' was feelin' abit tipsy when I asked him if he was feelin okie...
SO here I am, reachin home ard 12:30 in da morning n' bloggin......
